Booking Process
Reservations
To book a skip, you must provide accurate information about the type and size of skip required, your location, and the desired rental period. All bookings are subject to availability.
Payments and Deposits
Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This deposit will be refundable upon the return of the skip in good condition.
Rental Period
The standard rental period is 7 days from the date of delivery. If you require a longer rental period, please inform us in advance. Additional charges may apply for extended rentals.
Usage Guidelines
To ensure safety and compliance, please adhere to the following usage guidelines:
- Allowed Items: General household waste, construction debris, garden waste.
- Prohibited Items: Hazardous materials, chemicals, asbestos, tires, electronic waste.
Improper use of the skip may result in additional fees or termination of service.
Delivery and Pickup
Our team will deliver the skip to the specified location at the agreed-upon time. Please ensure that the delivery area is accessible and free of obstacles. Upon completion of your project, arrange for prompt pickup to avoid additional charges.
Fees and Charges
Our pricing structure is transparent and based on skip size, rental duration, and the volume of waste. Additional fees may apply in the following scenarios:
- Late Returns: If the skip is not returned within the agreed rental period, a daily late fee will be charged.
- Overages: Exceeding the allocated volume may incur overage fees based on the extra waste collected.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within this period may be eligible for a partial refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery.
Liability and Safety
While we strive to provide safe and reliable services, Mill Hill Skip Hire is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the use of our skips. Users are responsible for adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring that the skip is used appropriately.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

- Not exceeding the weight limits specified for the skip size.
- Properly securing the area around the skip to prevent unauthorized access.
